Welcome to Castle Images

I live in Australia, a country with vivid colour, endless vistas and unique wildlife.  The common misconception that it is a wasteland is a long way from the truth, although the vast majority of the population live within 50km of the coast.  In some areas one of Australia’s most recognised native animals, the kangaroo, does sometimes roam town streets and can be considered a dangerous pest, but koalas in towns are very rare.  I live in a populated area known as the Hills District (pop 2011 census was appr 169,872) , and just last week (Feb 2016), although a rare occurrence in the area, there was a kangaroo in the garden at the local church.  Sure there is desert, but dig deeper and you will find subjects similar to those depicted in my images.
